For want of a better description, Miss Lotts comes across as a fine, upstanding example of modern youth at its best. She demonstrates an almost compulsive need to fill empty spaces in the lives of those less fortunate than herself... a position she seems amply equipped to fulfi despite her underlying sense of shyness and humility!
