The Sport of Penguins -1
Note: The story begin with the same idea from the episode from the 1966 tv show. My imagination create the entire story. Have fun reading it! Thanks.
The Penguin teams up with parasol collector Lola Lasagne. Together, they plan to rig the upcoming Bruce Wayne Handicap to make a fortune from Lola's prize racehorse Parasol. They break into Glu Gluten's Glue Factory to steal a condemned horse, planning to switch horses before the race and make their money by betting on the real Parasol.
Lola Lasagne and her horse Parasol are holding a press conference when Penguin shows up . Barbara head to her appartment and let the bat-computer dope out what Penguin is up to.
The bat-computer throws out various bits, including definitions of parasols, Glu Gluten’s Glue Factory, and Lola’s real name of Lulu Schultz.
''Horse... Horse blanket... of course, Parasol is the name of a horse entered in the Bruce Wayne Handicap by Senora Lola Lasagne. Lulu Schultz must be a pseudonym. Paste, mucilage, glue... Gluten... Glu Gluten's Glue Factory. I start out with parasols and come up with a glue factory!''
Batgirl zooms through the night for her own surprise appearance in Glu Gluten's Glue Factory, right in time to find Penguin and Lola, completing their plan. At Glu Gluten’s Glue Factory, there are vats containing adhesive tape, paste, birdlime, fish glue, hoof glue, hot glue, sticky glue, and putty. Turns out Penguin and Lola are there to steal a horse. Lola points out that they don’t use horses to make glue anymore, but it happens to keep a spare horse around for emergencies.
''What is your dirty plan this time strange bird?''
''Batgirl? Sqawk!''
Baff! Bong! Zonk!
In the confusion , Lola snuck off with the horse and Penguin
take a bucket of glue and throw it at Batgirl's feet. The caught Batgirl, with
her feet glue to the floor, can only watch hopeless, everybody looking at her
with big grins.
Squawk! Squawk! Squawk!
Holy Adhesive Batgirl!
Will things gets even stickier for Batgirl?
Will they send Batgirl in a death trap all glued?
Hold on to your seats for the next part!
Same bat-thread, same bat-site!
