It makes a tidy sum off of selling power dampening technology to the various criminals throughout the city. Most of it given by experimenting and examining Astragirl herself. There were other powered heroines of course, and in order to make sure the technology remained up to date those heroines needed to be thoroughly examined so that their powers could be neutralized. This time Kinetic found herself at the mercy of a brutal machine that would be doing just that...a thorough examination.
