She took her time choosing a place to go – she wanted to find the best place for quiet time - no phone, no social networks, just peace and quiet with a small supply of wine and maybe some bourbon! She finally chose to go to the Shenandoah National Park; tent camping was not very crowded even this late in Summer. Also, a friend told her about a hot spring that was an easy hike from the parking area! She was anxious to try the hot spring and some wine for a relaxing time to start her weekend. The drive to the park was only about 2 ½ hours and uneventful; once there it was about a 3-mile hike to her camp site and all uphill.
