Scene 1 Take 1

Know also, o wise reader, that while a picture is worth a thousand words, if the thousand words up above do not satisfy your need more, instead of waiting another day for the next thousand words, you may read the paltry sprinklings sprinkled below. Know also, that in doing so, it might spoil all the dramatics the thousand words above have aspired to achieve. Or as the common folks would say...

Well, the image up and the text below might not line up with your expectations. If you like serious stuff, stick to the images, if not, well, continue reading!

The Malapropos Mid Evil Misadventures of Victory Maiden

‘This has to be it. All roads lead to this place. The den of the evil wizard, Hewhohasnotyetbeennamed. I’ve lost friends and comrades to his traps along the long and arduous road fraught with peril. I am but a warrior with no mages and rogues remaining in the party (because I am the star and there can be only one!), I will have to rely on what amounts to no points in stealth and the one point I put in that spell a strange wizard sold me in exchange for the location of this place: the 'Always Gorgeous' spell. He said it would keep me from getting into too much trouble. So I cast it and now I wait for the sunlight to be just right for a dramatic portrait before the adventure begins! A stealthy entrance in an all-powerful wizard’s lair which is surely loaded with traps and protective wards at every corner! And I’m going to give him the thumping, err, a night he will never forget. Ok, that all sounds just wrong. Can we do this from the top again?’

Scene 2 - The Skulking Around

‘Why are there so many corridors?! Seriously, does he have full time staff lighting all the torches around here? And if he does, where are they? And why did I not wear a gambeson under this chainmail? But most importantly, why did I carry a sword and not the scabbard?! So many questions! Oooh! I wonder what's around this corner!?’
